The new piece created by Adrienn Hód and BODHI PROJECT is focusing on paradoxical phenomenons between movement, stillness, monotonity and attitude. The deconstruction that can be observed through-out the piece brings together the tough athleticness of marching bands and the sensitivity of the Chopin nocturnes. The contradictory nature of the deconstructed performances thus force the audience to look beyond the object of their attention and observe a deeper sense. This way the dancers raise questions on individuality and collectivity while building a piece that brings strong provocative characteristics that are not unfamiliar to the work of Adrienn Hód.

We are made up by wounds.
Wounds are a condition of human beings they leave visibles and invisibles traces in our existence and in our memory.
How do they shape us? How occurs this process?
What grooves leave on our body?
They alter our present body, transforming and revealing a new reality.

A 30min Solo work inspired by the "masterpiece of strangeness”, Mary Wigman’s Witch Dance.
Raised and classically trained in Germany, Joy examines inherited vocabularies, reconfiguring what it means to summon the power and mystical practices of woman as witch. Combining her roots in Philippine folk dance, classical/ contemporary training and vocabulary of hip hop and voguing, BABAE is a one woman interplay between the animalistic and sensual qualities of ritual and power.
